The play received rave reviews and her work in the 92 shows performed this play, which was named as the best production by Canadian reviewers in 2002. Contractor was given the chance to join Stratford's conservatory, where only eight males and four women are accepted for a 20-week crash course on classical theater which she gladly accepted. Contractor was guaranteed a spot for the upcoming season of shows and eventually landed the part as Hermia In A Midsummer Night's Dream.
